I came up with the idea growing up with a learning disability myself due to a brain hemorrhage at birth. I had trouble remembering info but I could recall hundred of songs in my head and play them back on the piano. I had this strange ability to count the # of SI later figured out how to combine any song with any task to assist with memory retrieval; have been doing so since I was 10 (now 34). Because somewhere along the way, our childhood dreams met the real world. We are Jennifer and Victoria, sisters who are not only 14 years apart, but I, Jennifer, am autistic and my sister is neurotypical. As we spend more and more time together we realize that those things don’t really make a difference in how we relate. Our lives took VERY different paths but we ended up learning the same lessons. We are here to talk, laugh, process our experiences and hopefully pass some wisdom Also…We love you Mom!!!
