I have a heart for helping other’s learn to plant deep roots in Christ and grow in their faith. My hope and prayer is to bridge the generational gap and break the stigma in “church” today. To carry out The Great Commission in leading others to be deeply planted in Christ that nothing in this world can uproot them.

“Sound of Liberty” is the echo of God’s voice for freedom–transmitting TRUTH and INSTRUCTION in a time of pervasive fear and deception. S.O.L has been summoned to awaken the sleeping through dramatic interpretation, music, and scripture, inviting listeners to pick up the frequency of God’s voice distinct from the pretenders of the times. You will also HEAR eye-witness and expert testimony of personal, spiritual combat situations and how these battles have been fought and won dimensionally. Listen up, as now is the time for freedom. “Go, make you ready!”

Every other week, Valerie and Helen will look at a different chick flick (muff film, broad comedy, lady thriller, period movie, whathaveyou) and boil it down to its themes and how those themes affect our tender feminine emotions. Mostly we’ll just go off on tangents about Sex and the City. We’ll talk about chick flick tropes, like love triangles/squares/pentagons and sisterhood. We’ll explore just how strong girl power actually is and if real vampires sparkle in the sunlight, or if that’s just movie magic. And we’ll reveal our (Helen’s) repressed sexual feelings for Hugh Grant. We’ll get a dude’s opinion, and we’ll even listen to it.

The idea of freedom is central to the way we live our lives. Some of us say we would die to defend it, and many have. To explain who and what we are, we first call ourselves “free”. But for as often as we say the word, do we understand what freedom is? We will explore the idea of freedom through the lens of philosophy, history, literature… and whatever else we can find to learn from. I hope you’ll join the conversation.
