That moment: your palms are sweating, your stomach is churning and you’re full-on scared. You have to tell someone something. About yourself. About your life. You don’t know how they’ll take it. You fear the worst. That’s a “coming out” moment. Whether you’re LGBTQ2S+ or not, you’ll be inspired by Nancy Shadlock, CEO and Founder of Centered Life Coaching and her guests as they explore “coming out” stories of all kinds. Listen in weekly as people talk about coming out as trans, as a sex therapist, or share coming out about domestic abuse they’ve endured. Meet everyday people getting their brave on. We’re all hiding in closets of our own making. Everyone has a different story. We are always evolving. We can shed what’s no longer true for us. Be inspired by those who left the closet for something better and are willing to talk about it to help you find the courage to rock the next evolution of your own coming out story.

When hobbies become obsessions, we often like to share what we know and love about them with others. Although we have dedicated the most time learning the ins/outs of beer, brewing, and breweries, we have also extended our knowledge on those things that complement it: bourbon, wine, coffee, food, and cooking. Listen in to Evan, Ryan, Mark, and Dan, and with periodic guests, dissect those crafts that we love to imbibe.
The Geologic Podcast is a weekly podcast consisting of personal stories, comedy sketches, news commentary, music and movie reviews, science advocacy, original songs, and interviews. Its host and producer is musician, composer, drummer, comedian, storyteller, TEDx speaker, event emcee, and vigilant defender of the Theory of Gravity— George Hrab. The content often draws from Geo’s musical career; the music industry in general; his adventures as a semi-almost-famous critical thinker; his fascination with language, culture, and science; and ranges in tone from incredibly serious to unbearably silly. The show’s name is a portmanteau of “George” and “Logic,” and—quite confusingly—the show contains no geology content whatsoever. Recurring characters on the show (all portrayed by Hrab) include Dr. Damian Handzy, Mortimer, Minoishe Interroberg, Rupert McClanahan and many others. The podcast content varies from week to week, but often features several of a number of recurring segments including Interesting Fauna, Ask George, Geo’s Mom Reads Jay-Z Lyrics, The History Chunk, Horror-Scopes, and The Weekly Standard. George looks at his show as a type of “brain sorbet” for those who may need the occasional respite from the “coarses” of life. The podcast started in February 2007, and George has rarely missed posting one episode per week ever since. Just ask his therapist.

The world’s cities will need to accommodate an additional 2.5 billion people by 2050. But what will this growth look like? We believe a combination of tall buildings and high density, along with progressive construction techniques and thoughtful, comprehensive planning, will help create cities with a high quality of life – a “sustainable vertical urbanism.” This podcast interviews the shapers of our urban landscapes, with the goal of enabling smarter, more sustainable cities and a more viable future for global populations.
