This podcast has a new name as it morphs from letters the host shares during covid lockdown to stories from travel episodes. The title “Now Arriving!” points to the wide-eyed and slightly off balance feeling a traveler has when reaching a new destination. The host wonders: “Is it possible to learn to see our everyday lives with the same anticipation for new experience? After all, we are actually arriving every single moment. The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano, written in 1789, is the autobiography of Olaudah Equiano. It discusses his time spent in slavery, serving primarily on galleys, documents his attempts at becoming an independent man through his study of the Bible, and his eventual success in gaining his own freedom and in business thereafter. The book contains an interesting discussion of slavery in West Africa and illustrates how the experience differs from the dehumanising slavery of the Americas. The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano is also one of the first widely read slave narratives. It was generally reviewed favorably. (Wikipedia) This work was produced to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade in Great Britain.

Based off of the Gemara in Pesachim (6b) which states: 30 יום קודם החג שואלים ודורשים בהלכות החג(thirty days prior to the holiday you should learn and teach the laws of the holiday), this podcast studies the mishnayos that speak about each of the holidays starting from 30 days before, so that by the time the holiday arrives, you are fully educated on all of the laws pertaining to it! Here is the link to a WhatsApp group that sends out the podcasts everyday: https://chat.whatsapp.com/KULrV5ZvMBoB5jAk9U7DRo
