Bronx-born photographer and filmmaker Lisa Leone came of age in the 1980s with hip-hop and a camera. Her candid portraits capture iconic hip-hop artists at the early stages of their careers including Snoop Dogg, Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige and A Tribe Called Quest.
