Journals of Robert Falcon Scott; Vol 1 of ‘Scott’s Last Expedition’, The by Robert Falcon Scott (1868 – 1912) and Leonard Hu
Capt. Robert F. Scott’s bid to be the leader of the first expedition to reach the South Pole is one of the most famous journeys of all time. What started as a scientific expedition turned out to be an unwilling race against a team lead by R. Admunsen to reach the Pole. The Norwegian flag already stood at the end of the trail when Scott’s party reached their target. All the five men of the Scott expedition who took part in the last march to the Pole perished on their way back to safety. Robert F. Scott kept a journal throughout the journey, all the way to the tragic end, documenting all aspects of the expedition. The famous last words of the journal were: ‘It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. For God’s sake look after our people.’ (Summary by Illiterati)

In Pursuit with Mike Weaver
Mike Weaver is traveling the country in an RV in pursuit of inspirational stories, as Mike says, “for people who realize we are not perfect but are in pursuit of the One who is – Jesus! We believe He has redeemed us and in this podcast are exploring topics concerning what that looks like for our daily lives as believers.”
Mike Weaver is the voice of Big Daddy Weave, one of Christian music’s most beloved artists. The band’s numerous number one radio singles are the favorites of many, including “Love Come to Life,” “Redeemed,” “The Only Name (Yours Will Be),” “Overwhelmed,” “My Story” “The Lion and the Lamb,” “Alive” and “I Know.”
As much as Big Daddy Weave is known for their music and ministry, they may be known even more for their fervor to seek the Lord. In that spirit, Mike had the desire to talk with others about how they engage in this journey, leading to the launch of this podcast “In Pursuit”.

We love space age bachelor pad music, library music, charity shop cheese, hauntology, ping pong stereo, moog music, sitar-driven psychedelia, lounge, the retro-futuristic, contemporary electronica, soundtrack music, radiophonics, euro-pop, orchestral-pop, industrial-opera, hyphens, 8bit, chip tune, skwee, uneasy listening and steel drums. We’ve been known to salute the theramin, sidle up to an ondes Martenot and smile beneficently on the ukelele. Every episode includes the unnecessary news: the strange, the weird, the futuristic and the fun. Join us now and in the future!
