But with all the progress we’ve (supposedly) made in creating a fair world for more families, then why (oh WHY) are blended families/stepfamilies, LGBTQ+ families, common-law families, and non-white families still regarded as *other*? Your host, Brittany Lynch BScN, CSC, speaks to women in non-traditional families, explores the lies that society has taught us since we were children, and seeks to have you examine the disconnect between who you really are, and who society expects you to be. Brittany worked as a Registered Nurse for nearly a decade before obtaining a post-degree certification in Stepfamily Counselling. She made the empowered choice to create her own life, and retired from the patriarchy (nursing) to pursue entrepreneurship. Brittany is a no-BS feminist, speaker, regular featured writer for StepMom Magazine, and the founder Stepqueen.
