    Since May 8, 2018 12:00 UTC

The Needy podcast is for humans with needs – particularly those who like to pretend that they don’t. The truth is that every human being has needs. Your needs are a fact and not a flaw. YOU have needs, your needs matter, and meeting them is your responsibility. Yet… you’ve likely been taught that pushing your needs to the back burner is the only way to get things done. The Needy Podcast is devoted to sharing frank conversations and true stories about how real humans meet their needs consistently, messily, and sustainably. Host Mara Glatzel is an intuitive coach ready to support you in cultivating radiant self-trust by honoring and advocating for your needs. Get more: www.theneedypodcast.com

How can we have energy for the things we want to prioritize without burning out because we’ve prioritized too many things?

In today’s episode, I talk about making sustainable commitments and how to decide what to devote your precious resources to. This is an invitation to say no more often, and a lesson in how to identify your priorities so saying yes feels better than ever.

I also get really honest about why I re-committed to the Needy podcast after a year-long hiatus, and how I’m applying these lessons to the return of the show so it can be sustainable now and in the future.

Tune in to hear more about…

    – Three signs that a commitment is unsustainable
    – How to figure out what to say no to & what to say yes to
    – The magical thinking that we can do everything (hint: we can’t)
    – Identifying what you need to make good on your commitments
    – The Needy podcast hiatus & our recent comeback (now with more support!)
    – Your invitation to join The Needy Podcast Inner Circle!

This episode also marks the launch of The Needy Podcast Inner Circle! A Different Way

    A Different Way

    by

    Since Nov 21, 2018 09:28 UTC

This podcast highlights ways of doing things differently in education in the UK. Whilst mostly focused on primary, we will explore more widely, in search of ways to make learning come alive for pupils and teachers alike. The focus will be on English, reading and writing, but not exclusively. It’s good to remember, especially when we are told what to do and how to do it, that actually… there usually is A Different Way. Word In Your Ear

    Word In Your Ear

    by

    Since Mar 7, 2007 21:02 UTC

Mark Ellen and David Hepworth have been talking about and writing about music together and individually for a collective eighty years in magazines like Smash Hits, Mojo and The Word and on radio and TV programmes like “Rock On”, “Whistle Test” and VH-1.

Over thirteen years ago, when working on the late magazine The Word, they began producing podcasts. Some listeners have been kind enough to say these have been very special to them. When the magazine folded in 2012 they kept the spirit of those podcasts alive in regular Word In Your Ear evenings in which they spoke to musicians and authors in front of an audience.

Over these years they’ve produced hundreds of hours of material. As of the Current Unpleasantness of 2020, they’ve produced yet hundreds of hours more with a little help from guests kind enough to digitally show them around their attics such as Danny Baker, Andy Partridge, Sir Tim Rice and Mark Lewisohn. For the full span of the Word In Your Ear world, visit wiyelondon.com.

Preaching the Word of God in a profound way. Spreading The Gospel and teachings of Jesus Christ in order to bring light into many life’s and to transform them into a new being. 1.Avoid the false doctrine : I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. (Romans 16:17). 2.Teach the sound doctrine : Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. (2 Timothy 4:2) 3.Build on the sound doctrine. Acts 2:42.
