Off the Cupp with S.E. Cupp

Off the Cupp with S.E. Cupp

    by

    Since Sep 24, 2024 07:16 UTC

S.E. Cupp needs a break — from the news, from politics, from the triggering headlines and heated discussions … from the mental load of it all. Off the Cupp is just that. It’s a place to get loose and personal, to talk about what’s going on in our lives – beyond (and, yes, maybe because of) the news. Through a lens of mental health, S.E. invites her famous guests — celebrities, athletes, authors, journalists, politicians, reality stars — to share their life stories, their trials and tribulations and to talk about what it’s like living in this world, even when this world can feel like a lot.

    Curious with Josh Peck

    by

    Since Apr 30, 2018 02:26 UTC

Curious is what I am, about people, places, and things. I’ve been so lucky to have met a tableau of interesting characters and people in my journey on this earth, and I constantly want to find out what makes them tick—what their human experience has been like. Be it someone who’s super famous, someone who’s going through a life transition, someone who’s got a very specific job or upbringing—if it sparks my interest I want to get in deep, and learn more about it. For the most part, this will be funny, but at other times we may get a little emotional, a little deep. Overall, we’re just going to try and find out how people get by on this earth.

Hate telemarketing? I am a telephone engineer who builds robots that talk to telemarketers. While entertaining, the goal is to consume telemarketing manpower and disrupt the industry. This podcast is about the bots and this process. The recordings are entertaining, but some of the telemarketers get nasty, so the recordings can be explicit.

    The Fishing Podcast

    The Fishing Podcast

    by

    Since Sep 25, 2018 03:57 UTC

Since as long as I can remember I have always been obsessed with fishing. Catching fish is just part of it. To me its more about learning new things, seeing new places, and meeting new people. It was for these reasons that I started The Fishing Podcast. My life goal is simple. I want to go as many places, catch as many fish, and meet as many people as possible all while helping others do the same! In this Podcast Series I hope to cover as many types of fishing as possible. From saltwater deep sea fishing, to ice fishing in the far north, I want to see it all! While there is an abundance of great podcast out there, few cover the variety that I am searching for. If you are like me, no one kind of fishing will quench your thirst. Another area I am extremely passionate about is conservation, and protecting the natural world for generations to come. I look up to those such as Theodore Roosevelt, John Muir, and Aldo Leopold. I am currently a member of many Conservation organizations such as Trout Unlimited, Quality Deer Management, Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership, and sit on the board for the Michigan Chapter of Back Country Hunters and Anglers. I also co-founded a company with my cousin Dustin called Lifestyle Lost which raises money and awareness for conservation. I hope you will come along with me on this journey, and help me to make this the greatest fishing podcast out there!

    by

    Since Mar 25, 2010 03:00 UTC

What is the future for global health policy? How are the old paradigms being replaced by new ones? What are the key issues in the new globalised world? Ilona Kickbusch reviews the rapidly changing world of global health. In the past there were relatively few organisations involved and there was a hard dividing line between the public and private spheres. Today there are many more players and the issues are much more complex. In our rapidly shrinking world, where modern technology and infrastructure are able to compress time and distance, it is ever more important to have strong global health policies. How, though, will all the different parties, both local and international, public and private, find a way to co-operate most successfully? K311 Promoting public health: skills, perspectives and practice.

Famous People You’ve Never Heard Of

    by

    Since Nov 7, 2020 15:00 UTC

Our podcasts are a mix of conversations with a wide range of subject matter experts and enthusiasts, interspersed with the occasional audio drama. Each episode focuses on one person, a group of people or a genre from the world of entertainment that we wish to bring back to the spotlight and who has been lost to history or is in danger of being so.The Arts industries are currently in peril but this is nothing new. The Entertainment industry in all its guises has seen it all before. Political turmoil, plague, poverty, overnight success, sudden failure and the long term closure of theatres are not unique to the 21st century. We are not academics (although luckily some of our prestigious guests are) so don’t expect forensic analysis or ground breaking research in every episode. We are entertainers, passionate about our craft, its heritage and its future. And we want to share our enthusiasm with you!
