In this podcast, I talk about a poem that has begun to haunt me in some way, exploring the text as an existential koan or riddle. The poems we fall in love with, which we can’t stop thinking about, or become obsessed with, perhaps require a different way of relating to them than the usual focus. As in a more personal and intimate “conversation”? Like that between a patient and their therapist, a seeker and her guru, or that of lovers, and friends. These are my favourite conversations to have, even when alone. Thank you for listening. Website: stevewasserman.co.uk Twitter: @poetrykoan
