Sex: (almost) everybody does it and (almost) nobody talks about it—except at BedPost Confessions, a live storytelling show based in Austin, Texas. Whether the featured performers are funny, informative, political, or completely personal, the anonymous confessions from the audience are the stars of every show.
Selected from our live shows, each podcast features one storyteller bookended with anonymous confessions from the audience that are read (and often commented upon) during the evening. All BedPost Storytelling Productions are made accessible to deaf audience members by the fantastic interpreters from SOULumination. Though the interpreters are there to serve the deaf, they enthrall the entire audience with their beautiful expressions of American Sign Language. If you hear a roar of laughter and don’t understand why the interpreter may have stolen the show for a minute.
Because we lost our show home due COVID, our live shows have been canceled. Please stay in touch with us on Instagram and Facebookwhere we will continue to post anonymous confessions.

I Want 2 Know Podcast is about reviving the art of conversation and being interested in other people, it’s really humbling to hear an expert talk about their work or learning what interests them. People are a valuable resource and Dale Carnegie, who famously wrote “How To Win Friends and Influence People” knew the value in being genuinely interested in people and attributed it to his success. My wife loves the quote from that book “you can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you”

Have you been losing things lately? Is your dog chasing his tail, your cell phone acting up, or your best friend acting strangely? Well, I’ve got news for you. A Wisky Wasky did it! Unfortunately, no one’s giving him the recognition he needs. Let me tell you, that is a BIG mistake. Our Wisky Wasky’s a very excitable fellow. He calls in a dragon to help him get noticed. But there’s a problem with being a Wisky Wasky or a dragon in this technological world: there’s no such thing!

Have you read the Bible queerly? In this podcast, religious professionals and Harvard Divinity School alums J. Sylvan (they/them/theirs) and David Waters (he/him/his) tell Bible stories to Sylvan’s wife, Sue Buzzard (she/her/hers) starting at the very beginning. Sylvan and Waters draw on years of Biblical scholarship and spiritual practice to look both critically and constructively at these ancient texts. The three then make queer meaning around them, illuminating both their influence on and relevance to the world we live in now.
