We are an eclectic group of 20-to-30-something-year-olds that like to hang and talk about things. Each season (usually consisting of ten episodes) we choose a topic and discuss it. In Season 1 we chose to watch the best episodes of certain TV shows and review them out of context, hence the name of the podcast. As ideas for the podcast flowered and bloomed, we decided to expand our reach into other themes and so now we change topics every season. In this popular American book from the 1920s, accomplished public speaker and self-help charlatan Elsie Lincoln Benedict outlines her pseudo-scientific system of “Human Analysis”. She proposes that, within the human race, five sub-types have developed through evolutionary processes, each with its own distinct character traits and corresponding outward appearance. She offers to teach the reader how to recognise these five types of people and understand their innate differences.
