Travel Agent Chatter | Starting and Growing Your Travel Agency

    by

    Since Nov 28, 2016 00:00 UTC

We’ve got two listening delights for you on this channel, folks! 😲 The first is Travel Agent Chatter (TAC), a spotlight interview of a wide variety of travel advisors that we publish every quarter. The second is our shorter, but more frequent Friday 15 series, where every Friday we answer your travel industry questions for — you guessed it — 15 minutes! Travel Agent Chatter — a Host Agency Reviews audio series — talks about all things travel. We specialize in-depth interviews with travel agents from all walks of life. Whether you’re a new or experienced travel advisor, we help you up your game by sharing where other travel agencies have found success and offering inspiring stories from the front lines! Transcripts, videos and show notes of the TAC episodes can be found at https://hostagencyreviews.com/TAC And every Friday at 12pm CT we publish the Friday 15 to our TAC feed. It’s 15 minutes over the lunch hour, where we answer your travel industry questions. Submit your questions and watch videos of the Friday 15 at https://hostagencyreviews.com/friday15. Travel Agent Chatter and the Friday 15 are hosted by Steph Lee, the founder of the website Host Agency Reviews and travel industry veteran. She’s insatiably curious. A lover of travel, writing, gardening & the stars. Most importantly, she ♥’s her dogs, Fennec and Orion!

    a Brit, a Brat, & a 25-year Gap: a Seattle age-gap marriage

    a Brit, a Brat, & a 25-year Gap: a Seattle age-gap marriage

    by

    Since Mar 28, 2021 01:00 UTC

She’s 26, he’s 51. An age-gap marriage being forged in Seattle. Right now. It’s the ongoing tale of our days and daftness through two lenses: two generations in one apartment and one bed. It’s also about age gaps everywhere that any of us notice… from those height-measure marks in the hallway wall that you pause before painting over, to a pensioner who sits next to a teen in college class. In short — literally, for once — everything in between. MATT BULLEN was born and raised in England. He is a writer, podcaster, and for 20 years worked in pediatric healthcare. He is now studying, on a federal scholarship, to work with people who are visually impaired or deafblind. Anything posh? Hmm. He won two service awards during his time in children’s healthcare. He went to the same schools as Ben Elton (Blackadder), Terry Jones (Monty Python), Simon Bird, and the cricketer Bob Willis, and there are a couple of lines about him on Wikipedia. CECILIA CAPEHART-BULLEN was born in D.C. and raised in North Virginia. She moved to Seattle in 2018, to live with her childhood friend. She met Matt in Seattle, at a supermarket, while they were both buying groceries. Cecilia works as a home care aide in Seattle. Anything posh? Her great granddad was the late U.S. Senator Homer E. Capehart. Presented and produced by: Cecilia Capehart-Bullen and Matt Bullen. Email: abritabrat@gmail.com Keywords: age-gap, age difference, relationships, marriage, wedding, sex, age gap; age-gap marriage, age-gap relationship, Seattle, Matt Bullen, Cecilia Capehart-Bullen

    Arts in America

    Arts in America

    by

    Since Aug 26, 2020 14:56 UTC

How does the arts prosper during a pandemic that will change (maybe forever) how we create and bring that creativity to others? How does the arts stand firmly behind #BlackLivesMatter and give artists of color their long-overdue voice? The more we embrace diversity, the clearer the path through the pandemic will be.
