“Joseph Andrews … was the first published full-length novel of the English author and magistrate Henry Fielding, and indeed among the first novels in the English language. Greetings brothers and sisters. For the month of July, we discuss our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There are so many misconceptions about who Jesus Christ is. In fact, many deny that he is in fact God. But we know, as written in the scriptures, that Christ is Lord and the only begotten son of God the Father. What has He done for us: 1) He created this world. ¶”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made,” (St. John 1: 1-3) 2) He is the Word of God, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God,” (St. John 1: 1) and “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one, (I John 5: 7) 3) He was sent by God the Father to die for our sins, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” (St. John 3: 16) 4) He commanded us to obey the 10 commandments and to be perfect in the Lord, ” If ye love me, keep my commandments,” (St. John 14: 15) and “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect,” (Matthew 5: 48). 5) Christ will return again, “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works,” (Matthew 16: 27) These are only a few of the works that Christ has and will done. For your learning enjoyment, we present to you “The Real Truth About Jesus Christ.” May God be with you all.
