Podcast episodes might celebrate successes while tackling taboos – such as sexuality, mental health, disability, religion, gender inequality, race, class divides, substance misuse – plus more. Forget-Me-Not-Productions designs and delivers courses and training in accessible music, inclusive arts and assistive technology interventions through its MUSIC-CAN framework. Some of the Mouth-Off series might feature podcasts created by our clients as part of their studies. When the Son sets you free, you are free indeed! After my escape from communist Bulgaria, I found asylum in the USA. Yet, I never truly felt free on the inside until I encountered Jesus. I love to tell people, “while you could get me out of Communism, it was an entirely different matter to get Communism out of me—only Jesus could do that.”

Every woman has a story…and every story matters. Stories are the essence of who we are. They have the power to unite people across all divides—age, race, gender, sexual orientation, and geography—through compassionate connection. Jennasis Speaks is a platform that empowers women to safely share their stories, promoting healing and growth through the power of collective vulnerability and acceptance. Founder Jennifer Malcolm is a serial entrepreneur whose own story is driven by her desire to overcome devastating trauma and overwhelming obstacles to have it all: a family she could nurture, a thriving career, and a drive to live a life of passion and purpose. Her experiences have enabled her to build authentic relationships with other women and to help connect and inspire them to find their own paths to passion and purpose.

What is the life worth living? What are our obligations to ourselves and to others? What does love mean, and how might we embody virtue? These questions are as ancient as humanity’s primordial pursuit for self-understanding, and our podcast will examine them and others by looking at the surprising intersections of two figures: Jesus Christ and Jane Austen. Our host, Karen Swallow Prior will closely read a different one of Austen’s novels each season, and by examining her characters in light of Christ’s teachings, she and her guests hope to shed light on both, presenting a take on literature and popular culture that is as edifying as it is entertaining. Jane and Jesus is a SoulShop original.
