Do you ever find yourself playing a game for hours straight just to obtain an achievement or trophy? Do you spend money on games just for their easily achievable platinum trophies? Do you sometimes question whether it’s all really worth it?
Whelp – I do. And I am not alone.
Join Stephen as he shares his personal confessions and gaming stories, and those of other trophy whores! Together, we’ll do a deep dive into what it means to have a dependency on virtual gratification, for better or for worse.
Also, I’ll probably cry. I do that sometimes…
In the spirit of escapism we travel back to a time when the world wasn’t halted due to a deadly virus – a time when things were much simpler and a few best friends could just hide away in their parent’s basement, play video games, and earn trophies!
Thank you for listening to, rating, and reviewing the show! Please consider supporting the show by sharing it with your friends or you can donate HERE or visiting www.mtfproductions.com
Diaries of a Trophy Whore is written and produced by Stephen Marro.

Comedian and TV host Spencer Litzinger passed high school by the skin of her teeth. Learning disabilities, family tragedies, a stay in a mental hospital, and an attempted emancipation all made studying pretty difficult for her. But now she wants to fill those gaps in her knowledge with the help of her boyfriend Eli, a former ESL teacher. Every week, Eli explores Spencer’s stash of report cards to find a school subject she struggled with and gives her a baseline test. Spencer then gets 30 minutes to cram before a second final test that will decide whether she passes or fails that episode.
