Hosting the podcast are Roger Spoelman, DBA, MBA and Chuck Peck, MD, FACS. Roger has more than 30 years of experience as a healthcare executive. He served as interim CEO at Trinity Health Regional Systems in New England, Ohio, and Illinois at Loyola University Health System. Roger mentors many executives and assists organizations with strategy, innovation, and succession planning.

Dr. Peck is an internist and rheumatologist by training. For more than three decades, he has served as a practicing physician, faculty member, scientist, medical director, CEO, and partner in a global healthcare advisory company. One of the biggest projects he oversaw was a $108M financial turnaround of a $2B integrated health system in the northeast. Chuck also provides thought leadership insights to different organizations across the country, focusing mainly on operational and financial topics.

‘Gone, But Not…’ is a podcast that looks at death, grief and loss. Speaking to a different guest every episode Luke Aldridge chats about their experiences of loss in a variety of forms. It could be loosing a loved one, friend, family pet or the breakup of a significant relationship and how that person has processed that. They might be 20 years in or new to ‘The Club’, a wide variety of experiences are there to be shared. The aim of the pod is simple. We don’t talk about death enough. We will all suffer grief in our lives at some point, as sure as the fact that we will all die. By normalising these subjects in our chats we hope that there will be some parts that you can relate to or if you’re yet to experience it yourself that it may prepare you a bit for what’s to come.
