We started this podcast as a platform for our selfs as well as other barbers and Stylist to come and People period to come and be yourself ask questions, answer questions. Also drop a little knowledge and educate. Our vision is to have that outlet for everyday people to know that they can tune in or possibly be a guest and not be judged on what they say or do and maybe tell us things that we didn’t know as well as the listeners tuning in. So that’s where the name “Shop Talk Unkut” came from.

    Technically Correct Podcast

    by

    Since Nov 27, 2014 19:13 UTC

Hosted by Mark Reynolds, Simon Harris, and Richard Bailey, The Technically Correct Podcast is a panel discussion about technology and its effect on our lives, that’s more about the hosts than tech news. The show is borne out of over ten years of private, passionate, and often hilarious discussions (and ramblings) between three British fellows and the desire to begin sharing that with the internet. What could possibly go wrong? The Technically Correct Podcast is for tech geeks, obsessives, and the opinionated, who prefer a show with a minor focus on tech news and a major focus on the opinion and personalities of the hosts.

    What the M

    What the M

    by

    Since Sep 9, 2022 13:00 UTC

Do you ever wonder who is behind the scenes collecting and processing all those monthly mortgage payments throughout the entire country? In the world of residential mortgages, the mortgage servicing industry is a critical but not always visible player in the lending and home ownership process. Unveiling how mortgage servicers manage the residential homeownership industry is the concept behind “What the M,” a new podcast that discusses the complex issues facing default services and the path forward for the mortgage industry and homeowners alike. The industry is comprised of more than 160 mortgage servicers representing more than 80% of the outstanding principal balances on mortgages in the U.S. Without the involvement of these vital mortgage servicers, obtaining and maintaining a home mortgage as we know it would not exist.“‘What the M’ features industry movers and shakers discussing the challenges faced by mortgage servicers, law firms and the American homeowner,” said Stephen Hladik, one of the co-hosts for the podcast and chair of the Advisory Council of the Legal League 100. “We will discuss trends in the economy, regulatory oversight, changes in the law, changes in technology and a myriad of other factors affecting the industry.”Hladik and co-host Kent McPhail are experienced attorneys with multistate practices in the default servicing industry. Both have decades of experience representing secured creditors; however, each host brings his own unique perspective to the podcast. McPhail hails from the Deep South (think boiled peanuts and shrimp & grits), while Hladik hails from the Northeast (think cheesesteaks and scrapple). “With this Yin and Yang, we hope to bring an entertaining and informative approach to the industry and those who make it hum,” McPhail said.Episodes of “What the M” begin airing mid-September and can be found wherever you listen to podcasts.

You Never Miss the Dopamine (until the brain runs dry)

You Never Miss the Dopamine (until the brain runs dry)

    Since Oct 16, 2010 23:24 UTC

He’s quickly becoming the Lewis Black of Parkinson’s Disease. In a series of hilarious essays, Bill Schmalfeldt (author of “No Doorway Wide Enough”, also on Podiobooks) lashes out at Parkinson’s Disease “and the other things that annoy me.” Recorded at his kitchen table, you can hear life going on in the background as Bill talks about stupid studies that prove things that anyone with common sense should know (“Parkies who drool are embarrassed by it! It’s SCIENCE!”), his own declining cognitive status (“Pills don’t work… unless you TAKE them!”), the non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s (“I think the thing to do is take some daily Metamucil to make a poop that doesn’t have to fight its way out every morning like the Incredible Hulk busting out of a police station.”), why he had to quit drinking (“One of the pills I take said alcohol could cause the adverse side effect of death.”), and a lot about the weird dreams that are caused by the disease and the medication he takes for the disease. Oh, and he’s not much of a “Tea Party” fan, either. Bill cautions in the foreword of the book, if you find yourself LEARNING something or feeling sorry for him, put the book down immediately! That’s not what he wrote it for. He wrote it to fight back against the disease and to give you something to laugh about. “PD can’t affect the human spirit — unless you let it! And who doesn’t enjoy a funny book about disease?” “You Never Miss the Dopamine (until the brain runs dry)” is available in paperback, eBook and Kindle through his blog — http://parkinsondiary.com — and like his PREVIOUS books about Parkinson’s, 100% of the author proceeds will be given to the National Parkinson Foundation and the Charles DBS Research Fund at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
