The word “Ganbei” (干杯) can best be understood to mean “Cheers” and in a Chinese business context is a gesture often done to celebrate a new deal or partnership. Our program brings together guests with practical China and global experience to help our audience get a step closer to that next “Ganbei” moment. Each quarter we focus our discussion on a different business domain, such as e-commerce, digital marketing, talent recruiting and retention, supply chain management or advanced manufacturing. The places we’re born and the places we grow up tend shape who we are. But what happens when you leave that place? What happens when it’s no longer the place you wake up everyday and lay your head to sleep at night? You don’t see the same people often. You don’t go to the same places. You don’t do the same things. You change when you’re away from home. Sometimes home changes too. And sometimes we don’t notice those changes until we come back.
