Inizieremo la prima parte del nostro programma con una rassegna di alcune notizie di questa settimana. In primo luogo, commenteremo il piano della Cina, annunciato durante l’annuale Congresso Nazionale del Popolo a Pechino, di aumentare la spesa per la difesa militare, e di fissare un obiettivo di bassa crescita economica per il 2023. Successivamente, discuteremo della decisione, presa dalla Commissione Europea, di vietare ai propri dipendenti l’utilizzo dell’app di social media TikTok, di proprietà cinese, sui dispositivi utilizzati al lavoro. Quindi, nella parte scientifica del nostro programma, discuteremo di uno studio pubblicato sulla rivista Science, secondo il quale i cani che vivono intorno a Chernobyl sono geneticamente diversi rispetto agli altri cani. Infine, commenteremo l’emissione di un nuovo francobollo ucraino, raffigurante un murale dipinto dall’artista britannico Banksy.
Continuiamo con la seconda parte del nostro programma, Trending in Italy. Discuteremo innanzitutto della crisi del Partito Democratico (PD) e della sua nuova leader Elly Schlein, la cui elezione a sorpresa alle primarie ha destato molto clamore. Parleremo infine della scomparsa di Maurizio Costanzo, uno dei più noti conduttori della storia televisiva italiana.
