    Our Energetic Universe

    Our Energetic Universe

    by

    Since Aug 30, 2019 17:32 UTC

I’m Ruth Elisabeth Hancock and I’m an Author, Speaker & Host of Work Your Energy, a show all about our energetic universe, higher consciousness and multidimensional living. I believe that we are not one dimensional beings, but multidimensional and science is beginning to wake up to this idea too. A few years ago I was struggling in my business, life and marriage and I truly didn’t know how to get myself back on track. We had moved overseas, I was a new mum, and my mother had just died in the UK. My husband was working long hours and was never at home and I felt so isolated. In order to become a better mum for my children, I had no option but to piece my life back together and find solutions for everything. Now several years later I am incorporating what I learnt into my own business and life with remarkable results. What did I learn? I learnt how to manage, tap into and harness my own energy, and the higher consciousness or intelligence around me, something that I didn’t even know we could do. This podcast is my passion project and runs alongside my new Amazon Best Selling book, Work Your Energy: The entrepreneurs guide to raising your vibration, tapping into higher consciousness and achieving more happiness, wealth and success. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1781336717 I try and include a lot of science to back things up because I have a rational and logical mind and what worked for me was understanding the science behind it. Suddenly it all began to make more sense and I am in awe of it all. It feels like magic to me, and I am enjoying life far more than I ever did before. My hope is that it will do the same for you too. Essentially, the more we wake up to our true energetic or psychic nature, the more we step back into the best version of ourselves (and our authentic self). It’s not ‘woo woo’ it’s who we really are, and denying ourselves from this truth, is keeping us stuck in struggle, fear and shame – all far too low vibrational energies (emotions) to help us create a better life for ourselves. Step back into your energy world, and feel more confident, powerful, resilient, guided, supported, loved and purposeful….then watch as your life and success levels elevate. Over Coffee® | Stories and Resources from the Intersection of Art and Science | Exploring How to Make STEAM Work For You

Over Coffee® | Stories and Resources from the Intersection of Art and Science | Exploring How to Make STEAM Work For You

    by

    Since Sep 9, 2019 07:01 UTC

Would you like to know more about the art of twenty-first century “cool stuff” that’s changing our world? Such as: robots, space exploration, new media, wearable technology and other innovations that will be making people go, “Wow!” in the future? Along with the ways new technologies, new ways of thinking and new opportunities are influencing social change? Two Maverix® Multimedia presents Over Coffee®. Arts-oriented STEAM enthusiast Dot Cannon used to daydream through science class and dread math class. And now, she sees how both of these can be painless when applied to making wearables, programming robots, telling a spacecraft what to do or creating a VR entertainment experience. She and her interview guests will show you how the intersection of art and science can mean opportunities to express your creativity, find new resources for learning, and see what’s coming next. “Colorful” and “fun” aren’t usually adjectives people apply to solving the problem of climate change. But Dr. Michelle Maranowski has made them applicable to The Tech Interactive Museum’s largest new exhibit, “Solve for Earth” in San Jose. Michelle, who is The Tech’s full-time Exhibit and Content Developer, spent five years creating “Solve for Earth”. The exhibition comprises five thousand square feet, with fifteen different exhibits, and is designed to keep evolving. And it’s all about engaging visitors in thinking about their role on the planet–as they play and generate new ideas. No one ever said that coming up with solutions to a serious problem, couldn’t involve whimsy in the exploration process. “We’re all innovators,” says Michelle, who has a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. As an education professional, she also has a focus on storytelling, as a means to inspire others to solve problems. Accordingly, she has designed “Solve for Earth” to keep people thinking about reducing their carbon footprint, after they leave the museum. In addition to the physical exhibit, there’s a virtual component with resources, including the Ecotech Challenge, to engage individuals and groups in coming up with ways to live sustainably as a community. Michelle shared her creative journey, offered a preview of the “Solve for Earth” exhibit and discussed some of the viable ways of lowering our carbon footprint. On this edition of Over Coffee® we cover: The genesis of Michelle’s creative journey as an innovator; How Michelle first came up with the concept of “Solve for Earth”; Her journey, from there, in creating this landmark exhibit; Michelle’s recommendations on sharing information about climate change; What you’ll see, as you experience “Solve for Earth”; An Easter egg to look for (and there are others!; Some exciting new technologies aimed at reducing carbon emissions; What’s involved in the Eco Challenge, which encourages attendees to continue to take action after they’ve left The Tech; A look at the virtual resources included in “Solve for Earth”; One of the best creative challenges which Michelle experienced, while designing the exhibits; The ways in which she’d like to see “Solve for Earth” evolve, in the future.

    by

    Since Apr 8, 2015 10:25 UTC

For nearly a decade, host Anthony Desiato explored the culture, business, and fandom of the comics retail industry on this podcast series. In 2015, New York’s Alternate Realities closed after 23 years in operation, a community united to say farewell, and a podcast was born. The series continued with deep dives into collecting, national comics retail, conventions, Westchester County’s lost shops, and more. The show signed off for good in 2023 with a quarterly farewell event entitled “For All Seasons” — but the AR community lasts forever.
