    Bottle Ship Adventures

    Bottle Ship Adventures

    by

    Since Jun 1, 2020 09:00 UTC

Nominated for Best Family Podcast at the British Podcast Awards 2021 & 2022. Bottle Ship Adventures is a series of stand-alone stories set in the magical land of Dilstonia where little creatures called The Jifflings live on their little Jiffling ship. All the things we humans lose or throw away end up in Dilstonia, and The Jifflings find these lost objects and fish them out of their sea so they can work together to find a new use for them. Each object has a story of how it ended up in Dilstonia and each story helps The Jifflings, and the audience, to learn a new lesson. The show is about recycling and re-using things and has lots of humour and friendship at it’s heart. Bottle Ship Adventures is for children aged 4-10 years old but if you’re older and enjoy it too, good for you!

They said I wasn’t smart enough to go to college. I was told that I should go to trade school and become a key-punch operator – does anyone even know any key-punch operators? When I quit my first job, a member of my family was sure that no one would ever hire me. Well, I’m here to tell you that persistence, drive, and creativity win. I am more than fourth generation retail. After joining my mother’s lingerie business, I learned to guess bra sizes, got certified as a mastectomy fitter, and learned how to tailor bras. Following her passing, I saw a product and thought – “I can do better than that.” Crazy as it sounds, I went on a hike and happened to meet a design engineer. He introduced me to a patent attorney. I took everything I had and, with his help, got the patent for Bezi® Bra Discs as well as my first prototype mold. Wholesale to small stores was great, but, I wanted more and have spent years learning about funnels, website building, CRM, customer retention management, as well as workflows, marketing, and social media. From learning to type on an electric typewriter to the computer. Wow, what a journey. Yes, I am here to tell you that anything is possible – even for those of us who others thought could never succeed. When you have curiosity, interest in learning, and drive anything is possible. I am your host Anne Zuckerman and this is the Just Wanted to Ask Podcast.

Seeking Nomad – life and its reflection. I just raise questions. You go within to find the answers.

Life is a question without an answer. Life is a mystery. Where have I come from. Where I am headed to. I am a seeker and a nomad by spirit. Wandering through the alleys of life searching my soul. Seeking Liberation thru my lens. There’s an old saying ‘Life time is not really long enough to figure out what it is all about’. So, seeking every moment to learn something new. Discovering myself & the truth behind everything. I am neither a Buddhist scholar nor an authority on this great life philosophy. I am just another confused soul trying to join the dots practicing Buddhist teachings.
