We begin with a simple question: How did you get here? The question is asked and answered by Middlebury students, but that’s where uniformity ends. For some, their journey to Vermont is strictly a geographical tale; for others, their travel has been spiritual, metaphorical, one of mind, body, and soul. This project—now in its 11th year but first as a podcast—annually employs four students as Middlebury Fellows in Narrative Journalism. The fellows seek out and interview some of their peers in the student body at Middlebury, and are entrusted with their personal stories.

We’ve been friends for almost ten years. We’ve grown up together and had a lot of our experiences molded by the same things. We’ve decided to talk about some of our shared interests, from things like Wrestling, Videogames, Comic Books, Dungeons & Dragons, and a whole lot more. We’re a warm and cozy, welcoming podcast.
Uh oh! This episode gets a little political. We think video-games are important as art, so we have some strong feelings regarding them. This week we discuss The Last of Us, Halo, God of War, Red Dead Redemption, and some of the games that shaped us and our friendship. So snuggle in, get cozy, and have a listen. If you’re a fan of this chat, be sure to subscribe, and we’d love to hear all your feedback.
Also, someone get Honey on the line.
Dr. Betsy Rippentrop, a psychologist, and Kate Moreland, a lawyer and CEO, are having conversations about how women have been conditioned to lose connection to their inner voice and natural instincts, and how the time has come for us to re-wild. Both grew up as overachievers and perfectionists and took traditional career paths, following the rules society set for success. This required a loss of authenticity and a disconnection to their own wild essence. We explore questions and tools around how best to listen to our inner voice, re-wild ourselves, and live the most authentic life, where we thrive instead of survive.
