We are on the button. We make theatre that moves. We are drawn to stories that go unheard: people who are ignored, voices of dissent, perspectives which are new to us. Our work is physical (we trained at the Lecoq school in Paris); we work as an ensemble, which means we devise together and work as a team throughout each project. All our shows are different: it is the ensemble who find the right theatrical language with which to tell the story.

For more than 30 years the American Theatre Wing has been bringing together performers, directors, playwrights, designers, choreographers, producers and behind-the-scenes personnel from the American and international theatre, WIT offers a rare opportunity for students and audiences to see the people who create theatre engaged in thoughtful conversation with one another. With more than 600 past guests, the seminars have become an unequalled archive of theatrical talk, a chance to hear from the people behind the characters, stories and productions that draw us to the theatre. We have collected the Tony Award winners who have appeared on Working In The Theatre.

In 1894, Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) published two short collections of aphorisms: “A Few Maxims For The Instruction Of The Over-Educated”, in the Saturday Review newspaper, and “Phrases and Philosophies for the Use of the Young”, in the Oxford student magazine The Chameleon. By turns witty, intellectual, counter-intuitive and obtuse, the collections came to be seen by many as emblematic of Wilde’s style, and countless collections of Wildean aphorisms have since been published. Arts podcasts include all types of creative and performing arts. Most notably, Arts is the main category where visual arts podcasts and literature podcasts can be found. It also has some overlap with music and film podcasts, which each have separate categories of their own.
