Gtown Desi has been created by an enthusiastic team of talented individuals each having raw musical talent and a passion for entertainment, fused with their years of experience in the industry. Following in the successful footsteps of Gtown Urban, an influential concept which set out to capture the urban market and provide entertainment throughout various major events, Gtown Desi has been introduced as the freshest new entertainment concept to hit the Asian market. The team behind this new concept continue to dedicate their time, effort and skills bringing to you a new and stylish events management company with the tools to produce the most exclusive parties, with entertainment from the most exclusive and talented DJs around… Every member of Gtown Desi derives from a differing background musically, which in turn allows us to combine and create new forms of music. With influences ranging from eastern traditional sounds to contemporary western-based urban themes, our overall collection of DJs allows us an opportunity to simply fuse sounds unlike any other musical unit presently out there. ‘1134’, the debut album from the collective, looks to be the final piece of the puzzle in establishing the brand UK and worldwide. With all their individual influences combined on the one record, the album represents the true sound of Urban Asian and may even be the benchmark for future projects from other artists also. The first single, ‘Peer’, embraces break beat sounds with Asian elements and delivers and fast tempo driven track worth being played on any dance floor. As the days tick down, the launch is imminent. Having created ‘Secrets’ and re-invented the Asian nightlife scene, the album is set to redefine British Urban Asian music.

Mathematical Philosophy – the application of logical and mathematical methods in philosophy – is about to experience a tremendous boom in various areas of philosophy. At the new Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy, which is funded mostly by the German Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, philosophical research will be carried out mathematically, that is, by means of methods that are very close to those used by the scientists. The purpose of doing philosophy in this way is not to reduce philosophy to mathematics or to natural science in any sense; rather mathematics is applied in order to derive philosophical conclusions from philosophical assumptions, just as in physics mathematical methods are used to derive physical predictions from physical laws. Nor is the idea of mathematical philosophy to dismiss any of the ancient questions of philosophy as irrelevant or senseless: although modern mathematical philosophy owes a lot to the heritage of the Vienna and Berlin Circles of Logical Empiricism, unlike the Logical Empiricists most mathematical philosophers today are driven by the same traditional questions about truth, knowledge, rationality, the nature of objects, morality, and the like, which were driving the classical philosophers, and no area of traditional philosophy is taken to be intrinsically misguided or confused anymore. It is just that some of the traditional questions of philosophy can be made much clearer and much more precise in logical-mathematical terms, for some of these questions answers can be given by means of mathematical proofs or models, and on this basis new and more concrete philosophical questions emerge. This may then lead to philosophical progress, and ultimately that is the goal of the Center.
