Desiree Dolecki, CMP, is the director of conferences & events for the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, a 501(c)3 with a mission to inspire a commitment to enterprise excellence through experiential learning by bringing people together to share, learn and grow. In this role she creates event environments that foster learning for both virtual and in person audiences.
During her 20+ year career she has worked as an event professional in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Before joining AME, Desiree was the director of meeting planning at WJ Weiser & Associates, an association management company, planning and executing medial meetings. Prior to that, she was an event manager with Walgreens for over 14 years, where she led a team who aligned event management and planning to corporate strategy and initiatives. Desiree obtained her bachelor’s degree in advertising and design and is an eternal student, continuing to earn certificates and designations in her field that support the passion of her work.
She is married, has one daughter, and currently resides in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Her interests include traveling, spending time with family and volunteering at the local food pantry.
