Can This Work In A Small Church?

    by

    Since May 21, 2021 07:00 UTC

Karl Vaters interviews church leaders about the important issues of faith and ministry. It’s called The Church Lobby because: The church lobby is where the church meets and does ministry. The church lobby moves conversations from the stage to the floor. The church lobby is a good place to take the temperature of a church’s health. Karl Vaters is the author of several books, including Small Church Essentials and The Grasshopper Myth. Formerly known as Can This Work In a Small Church?, this podcast primarily looks at church leadership from a small church perspective.

This week, the Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates again, despite coming under scrutiny in recent months for its aggressive hikes to battle inflation. This week on Intercepted: Jon Schwarz, senior writer with The Intercept, talks all things Fed, the most powerful economic institution in the U.S. Schwarz is first joined by Intercept reporters Ken Klippenstein and Daniel Boguslaw, who discuss how banks are lobbying the Fed, raising questions about the institution’s independence. Schwarz is then joined by former Fed economist Claudia Sahm to break down the Fed’s role in the economy and how its efforts to curb inflation are destabilizing the global economy and raising unemployment.

Simple yet complicated ways of life. Welcome to, what we call, a podcast. I have been having this idea for about a year or two years ago. I loved the idea that I could speak on a platform about a certain topic and hoping to interact with most of you, if not all. This is the perfect place to start. I could use some help in the form of feedback about how I can better myself at this. No hate, only love.
