I created “Why you say that Jazz Radio” to express some deep rooted frustrations I didn’t always have the heart to speak on. God told me to record it and I’ve been going ever since. Through voicing my raw emotions, I learned that others felt the same and encouraged me to keep going. This was confirmation I was in alignment with my purpose. The very thing I was scolded for coming up became the very thing that would empower myself and others. I voice my views on generational curses, depression, religion, spirituality & sexuality. I intend on sparking uncomfortable conversations. Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/whyyousaythatjazzradio/support

Who approaches the scene first risking their lives for the safety of others? We do. The blue canaries, law enforcement. We allow others to tell our stories. It’s time for us to tell our own stories. Blue Canary is a show for cops by a cop, retired Captain Steven Kellams. In each episode, Steve goes behind the scenes of a police department. Giving you real-world insight into why decisions are made, what obstacles are ahead, and how the answers to your questions aren’t always found in the news. It’s unfiltered, it’s relevant and it’s for anyone brave enough to wear a badge.
