I’ve spent the last decade teaching organizational leaders how to create inclusive environments for others. However, after years of working in this space, I realized that inclusion is a 2-way street. Yes, we have a responsibility to open our arms and include those around us. But we also have a responsibility to work on our own dreams, goals and desires.
