On February 12, 1971, in Durham, North Carolina, a 20 year-old nursing student and her 19 year-old boyfriend left a Valentine’s Dance to park down a secluded lover’s lane. They never returned. Two weeks later, their bodies were found deep within the Carolina pines. They had been strangled, tortured, and murdered. Their murders have never been solved. THE LONG DANCE is the story of the lives touched by the murders of Patricia Mann and Jesse McBane. Produced by crime fiction author Eryk Pruitt, investigative reporter Drew Adamek, and sound engineer Piper Kessler, it uses recorded interviews to tell the tragic tale of North Carolina’s most baffling murder case. The eight-part true crime podcast is perfect for fans of SERIAL and S-TOWN.

A Love Island UK podcast for American viewers focused on cultural translation, questionable scholarship, and lowbrow humor. Every week, we dive into a (hopefully) interesting aspect of British culture or history–whether it’s the most popular sexual fetishes or legends of Celtic mythology. We also spend way too much time talking about a specific episode, go over any new slang terms, and review the islanders’ questionable fashion choices. New episodes publish every Saturday on Patreon, and then two days later on Mondays everywhere else.

Welcome aboard: JJ here. The entire purpose of this podcast journey of mine is to get my opinions out there about anything and everything. It’s come to my understanding that I have such a complex mind that it tends to give people headaches sometimes from how complicated my thinking is. I think deeply, too deeply sometimes. The ultimate goal is to find people who think just like me so I can give others who have the same mindset that feeling of belonging, where you know that you aren’t alone because you’ve found others just like you. I want to give, inspire, open minds, and connect the world. Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/janet-jurado-jj/support
