    Better Than Yesterday

    Better Than Yesterday

    by

    Since Jul 20, 2021 14:41 UTC

Better Than Yesterday These three words encompass what we follow out in our everyday lives, to strive to be better than the day before, and we believe this philosophy is of value for all people to integrate into their own lives. This spans into all aspects of life including investment and self development, two areas that this podcast will focus on. This podcast is started by Michael Janse van Rensburg and Daniel Hammond as we embark on our own journey of growth from are homes, South Africa and Namibia, and aim to help and educate as many others as we can through the use of this Podcast – Better Than Yesterday.

We are back with a new podcast – a topic that is close to our hearts and one that we thought was extremely important to talk about. Why you should not care what other people think about you. It is a limiting belief that held both Daniel and myself back for many years, and as soon as were able to shed that, we were able to truly be ourselves, to be more confident in that, and to take hold of many more opportunities! That is why we felt we had to share our experiences and thoughts to help any other young person who is struggling with the pressure of caring what others think about them. We hope you enjoy and make sure to let us know your thoughts, and topics you would like us to cover in the comments below! Sincerely, BTY

Vanessa Stoykov – Because finance is boring but money is sexy

Vanessa Stoykov – Because finance is boring but money is sexy

    by

    Since Aug 14, 2022 17:00 UTC

In her ongoing quest to bring people to their own financial flashpoints through entertaining storytelling, Vanessa has designed her podcast to be a unique series of stories that span scripted narrative and fictional characters. The debut, a five part scripted narrative called The Breakfast Club, introduces us to six very different people, who used to be the popular group in the high school they graduated from 25 years ago. Now their financial and life circumstances look completely different. There’s a glam business owner, a mum of three, a divorced part time lawyer, an accountant, a car salesman and a billionaire tech guy. Their past is the only thing they have in common. But once the tequila is passed around and the group start to relax, the real truth comes out about who each of them have really become. Through looking at the characters life and choices, we can start to see these people are not very different from most of us. And while some had a lot more money than others, most are unhappy because of choices they made earlier in life, without knowing the consequences for their future. Vanessa is our narrator and guide, to expose what’s really going on with these six characters, who are likable and relatable. She also brings in expert guests, to pull back the curtains on what money is influencing behind closed doors, and identifies the five powerful pillars of financial change. If you love a good podcast weaved with entertainment and insight for your own life, then The Breakfast Club is for you. It is the companion podcast to Vanessa’s financial fable, The Breakfast Club for 40 Somethings.
