But is it A Good Movie…?

    by

    Since Mar 6, 2022 17:49 UTC

Hey, it’s Ish! For the past 10 years, I have been collecting DVDs, Blu-ray, and even VHSs to build the ultimate movie collection. Now, my friend Nick and I are going through my personal movie collection and asking the age-old question “But is it A Good Movie…?” In a time when movies on streaming services are constantly in flux, it is more important now than ever to collect your favorite movies, but when a movie collection gets too big, it is a good idea to decide which movie is worth holding onto.

The Colour of Bee Larkham’s Murder – The Podcast

The Colour of Bee Larkham’s Murder – The Podcast

    by

    Since Apr 30, 2018 16:47 UTC

The Colour of Bee Larkham’s Murder Podcast – Synaesthesia and Face Blindness in The Colour of Bee Larkham’s Murder. Imagine not being able to recognise your best friend’s face. Or your own face. Imagine that every time you said your girlfriend’s name it tasted of pears. Or of pine needles. Or worse: of dishwater. Author Sarah J. Harris became fascinated by synaesthesia and face blindness (also known as prosopagnosia) after writing an article on the subject in her day job as a journalist, later going on to write about both conditions in her debut adult novel, The Colour of Bee Larkham’s Murder, in which her protagonist is the only witness to a murder – but can’t recognise the murderer’s face. In this three-episode podcast, Sarah speaks to experts and the people who experience each condition to find out more about them and what this means in their everyday lives, from the challenges of dating with face blindness to experiencing the world in a kaleidoscope of colours and flavours that only they can see and taste. Listen to this extraordinary podcast now. Quiet Up There

    Quiet Up There

    by

    Since Feb 8, 2023 14:00 UTC

Now the first question about the show you might have is, well, what’s it about? And that is a very good question, and the honest self centered answer is that it’s about me; Cameron Perry, my life, my experiences, and how I interpret them. The second question I can guess is coming is: what’s with the name? Another great question, wow you’re on fire today. The name of the show is Quiet Up There and it has two meanings.

The first reason is because I’m loud and rowdy and I was even louder and rowdier when I was younger, and my parents were frequently yelling up the stairs to tell me to be quiet. Maybe not always exactly stating but otherwise intending to say: Quiet Up There! The second reason is because as I’ve gotten quieter and less rowdy with age my mind has done the opposite, and I find myself having to stop my train of thought and tell my brain to shut up a second more and more often. Maybe not always exactly stating but otherwise intending to say: Quiet Up There!

The show is very much going to be different week to week depending on what I decide to talk about, so buckle up!
