On The Monkey Business Show you’ll get great stock picks, solid lessons on risk, insightful guests and lots of laughs. With so many new investors in the market our main goal is to point out ways to win while not getting your wallet lifted!
The original Monkey Business boys, Richie Bennett and Eric Salzman met on a Wall Street trading desk in the 1990s. While their careers diverged toward different firms they stayed in touch and eventually started a YouTube show and The Monkey Business Blog, where they pulled back the curtain on the wackiness of Wall Street. With the addition of producer and co-host, Aaron Hodges, this podcast is the next chapter of that foundation.

The Christian’s life should be one of faith, of victory, and joy in God. “Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” Men may profess to believe the gospel; but unless they are sanctified by the gospel their profession is of no avail. If they do not gain the victory over sin, then sin is gaining the victory over them. The thorns that have been cut off but not uprooted grow apace, until the soul is overspread with them.

Rec’d is a ten-part documentary series where we explore the ins and outs, the ups and downs, the twists and turns of adult-use cannabis legalization in California. With the help of industry leaders, celebrities, lawyers, growers, investors, and more, we try to make sense of what the hell actually happened when California flipped the switch on legal weed. Along the way, we’ll explore the state’s complex web of regulation and taxation, the monumental consequences of The War on Drugs, the long arm of Silicon Valley, the sudden death and eventual rebirth of Compassionate Care, and the ethics of chicken sandwiches. Join our hosts Brandi Moody, Reena Karia, and Christopher Trout as we reflect on two dizzying years of legal weed.

Most mainstream models of work are not sustainable and often waste a great deal of human potential. Grateful for the privilege of receiving a PhD education studying the sociology and psychology of work at Stanford University, Carol Xu would like to give something back to society. Drawing from the fields of organizational behavior, sociology and psychology of work, and design thinking, she curates a broad spectrum of the human experience of work, from work burnout and depression to pursuing our life purpose, joy, and mastery at work. We will also explore new professions, novel work designs, and radical ways of organizing people and resources that encourage human thriving. Carol hopes that by learning from real-world stories, we can all bring some insights to our work life, design new ways to organize people and work, and ignite the imagination of others. A new episode will be released every two to five weeks. While you’re waiting for the next episode, experiment with one take-away you picked up from the last episode and share your experience with Carol at carol@workstoriesproject.org. Collectively, let’s re-imagine what work can be for you, your loved ones, and society as a whole!
