Texas native, Glen Mayes has worn many hats, but the one that led him into the marijuana industry is: father.
Glen’s nine year-old son Orion was diagnosed with a neurological disorder at 2 months old.
Glen was certified by the state of Texas to administer pharmaceuticals as a supervisor in a correctional facility for ten years in Taylor and Travis county.
That knowledge base motivated his search for a safer medication for his son and lead him to be a caregiver for five other Colorado Medical Marijuana patients.
During his time in Colorado, Glen has worked in the marijuana industry with companies such as The Clear and most recently, as President and CEO of a hemp processing company Verified Texas Hemp. He is bringing his knowledge gained back home to ensure quality products from genetics to post harvest.
