For years Doug Cochrane and Justin Strandlund have been good friends and frequent improv partners. They share a love of debating any topic, although their discussions usually come back around to two things: movies and space. Their most infamous debate involved a 2 hour discussion (while at work) about the actual possibility of time travel and it’s potential ramifications on mankind; this included a full diagram drawn on a wall-sized whiteboard. Time well spent. MindGap is what happens when they sit together in front of a microphone and press record.

(This podcast was active until 2019). We millennials have a lot of stereotypes that are thrown at us on a day-to-day basis. Some are wrong. Like the fact that we’re all lazy. Some are right. Like the fact that we love brunch. The goal of this podcast is to introduce you to other millennial all-stars – small business owners, entrepreneurs, freelancers – and find out how they’ve managed their finances and grown their businesses. Each episode, we’ll also sit down with a cool, millennial CPA who can help us all navigate what they’re best at: money. This podcast is brought to you by #CPApowered, a national campaign sponsored by the AICPA.

This is a true account by American woman journalist who, in 1889, set out to see whether she could beat the fictional journey in Jules Verne’s 1873 novel, Around the World in Eighty Days. Wearing one dress and carrying one handbag, Elizabeth Cochrane Seaman (pen name “Nellie Bly”), reported her travels back to avid readers in America.
