Do you ever come away from a conversation and wish you could take back what you said? Or perhaps you froze up or avoided a topic as it felt too risky or loaded? There are many misconceptions out there and sometimes we have good intentions but just miss the mark when we approach difficult topics with friends and family members. Anxiety, depression, grief, addictions…Throughout this new series, we’ll be doing our best to answer the question ‘How do you talk to someone when’, covering topics that are relevant to situations we can all find ourselves in on a daily basis. In each episode, we’ll talk to people who are living through challenges, their families and loved ones doing their best to support them, as well as experts within these fields, who offer advice and wisdom to us listening.
