In this podiobook: What is education? It’s a term we use every day to describe the process of putting 25 or 30 young souls into a cinder block room and filling their heads with what-all over the course of the first quarter of their lives. But is that education? True education is not a process of pouring in from without, but of calling forth what is within. It’s not a process of memorization, it’s a process of nurturing, of allowing, of evoking. It’s a process of bringing forth the person one is meant to be. “…one of those books that provides a banquet, not a morsel, of food for thought.” –education review Any donations made to this book will go directly to First Book, a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing books to children from low-income families.

“But I Heard About It” is a pop cultural retrospective media review podcast. The concept of the show began with Ris showing Murphy movies and other media they’d never seen before while growing up in a repressive household where they weren’t allowed to watch most things, and then comparing what it’s like to see something for the first time versus someone who has either grown up with it or seen it a bunch of times. Brian, not to be left out with his DVD collection bigger than some libraries, wanted in with a return to the early days of Inciting Incident. Thus, they watch something that one of them hasn’t seen, but they heard about it!
The podcast that lays it all down on the table answering one question – If your curls could talk, what would they say about you? What have you been through that had an adverse effect on your hair? You’ll be surprised on how much of our physical and mental health is connected to the way we treat our hair, along with being impacted by the state of society and cultural expectations. Through the lens of a millennial growing up in the UK with African parents, there are MANY layers to unpack. Join me (Funmi) and special guests as we explore the adventurous life of curls in this crazy world!

“A Student, a Rabbi, and a Beer”. Where the secular student resonates and clashes with the unsecular rabbi, all while enjoying a craft beer and chiming in their recommendations of its quality and brew. In these first inaugural episodes, Rabbi Nash interviews Matthew Ware about his spiritual journey in Judaism. Starting with his early secular and Christian influenced youth to the recognition of his Jewish identity and what that meant to him at such a young age. Best enjoyed over an IPA and a light-hearted spirit 🙂

South Florida stand up comics Jeff Dolezal, Josh Francis, and Matt Ross desperately need content. Most conversations are rooted in standup comedy, addiction and recovery, military service, and marriage life. Not really, but that’s what we need to say for views. We are also going to include other search terms like funny podcast or comedy podcast – just for good measure.
