“Love You To Life” and similar random podcasts

Love You to Life is our space to have real, honest conversations about topics important to you that we’re not given the opportunity to have in the classroom. I’m Kelley Byrdsong, the voice behind Love You To Life. As a former youth director of an Atlanta based non-profit, and a current educator in Chicago, my life’s work has and always will be you. Your growth. Your humanity. Your purpose. In my sixteen years of engaging with children and families, one thing has burdened me the most; the lack of real truth and wisdom being given to you. You’ve been called at-risk, bad, and lazy. But to me, you’ve always been a safe place. In my eyes, you’re just misguided and uninspired. That’s not on you. That’s on us. I created this space for you. For you to have a voice. For you to be inspired. For you to get what your soul needs. For truth, and wisdom. I created this space for myself, too. To say all the things that need to be said to you, for your good, and for the betterment of our people. So, do us all a favor and share this podcast with your friends and the whole fam. Sometimes, there comes a point when you don’t need more information… you just need to be encouraged.

I was inspired to do this episode when I read an Instagram post of a young girl who was experiencing bullying, and another young lady who expressed that although she looks happy on the outside, she’s struggling a bit on the inside.

So, here’s some much needed encouragement for us all. A little mid-week pick-me-up.
