    I’ll See You In HELL!!

    I’ll See You In HELL!!

    by

    Since May 13, 2020 13:44 UTC

Two mediocre white guys, recall and review classic movies of the past and present. Try to imagine a conversation you might have with a 90s era video store clerk about what you should watch tonight. We WILL tackle films that won’t often be discussed as Oscar worthy but are always considered entertaining. We will argue, agree and attempt to mimic accents of the most classic one liners and movie tropes. Come prepared to laugh and it is ALWAYS a good idea to listen after you have seen the film and not before.

Reducing Overwhelm for Christian Homeschool Moms of Special Needs and Neurodiverse Kids ***TOP 1% Parenting + Family Life Podcast*** Do you wish your home and homeschool could be peaceful? Do you long for simple systems that help life run on autopilot, instead of feeling overwhelmed and like an angry task-master who can’t get anyone to help you? Are you ready to kick fear to the curb, LOSE THAT OVERWHELM, and move into a satisfying life of Proverbs 31 stewardship? Welcome to the family!!! You have been led here divinely, because Jesus is the Good Shepherd. In this podcast, you will find secrets to reducing the overwhelm that motherhood brings, shifting into living a life of intention and unity in your homeschool, homemaking, and health, while raising special needs or neurodiverse children. Reducing overwhelm happens simply and joyfully with a few systems and hacks, which I will share here. Living out Charlotte Mason’s homeschool teachings seamlessly creates a lifestyle that extends beyond formal education and encompasses the whole family’s approach to living and learning in a holistic joy-filled way! My mission is to journey alongside you, empowering and equipping you to build a solid family foundation to bless your future generations, while you confidently live out your calling with joy and assurance, despite the challenges of the special needs life. If you are ready to say “yes” to letting go of the yelling, guilt, overwhelm, and confusion that has plagued you, then you are in the right place. Welcome home. Hey, I’m Katie Keene. Jesus Lover and Daughter of the King, Wife to a Hunk, Mama of 5 treasures (with a pair of out-of-the-box movers and shakers), Special Needs Advocate, Non-toxic Lifestyle Junkie, and Homeschool Fanatic. For years I struggled to feel confident amid the overwhelming chaos of daily life. I was frantically searching for answers to mysterious chronic illnesses, neurodiversity in my children, and special needs. I felt desperate to know how to educate and train my children perfectly, longing to keep a Pinterest-worthy home, while trying to meet my unrealistic internal expectations –and keep up with military spouse life. I felt like a hamster running on a never ending wheel. I finally realized that to create the foundations in my family which I KNEW I was called to create, something BIG had to change. I did not want to wake up someday to regret and sorrow. I longed for simple solutions to living this challenging but rich special needs life with purpose, while fulfilling my calling to motherhood, health, homeschooling, and homemaking. SO, with God’s grace and guidance, I have learned to reduce the overwhelm and I am still on this journey today. I can’t wait to share what I continue to learn with YOU! This journey toward God’s best for your family will increase your confidence, and set a firm foundation for your generations to come. Breathe deeply, Mama. Let the kid’s go play. Because it’s time for you to CHASE that JOY and PEACE you have been longing for! Connect! hello@herhomeandheart.com Grow! herhomeandheart.net/free All the INSIDER goodies for you! PLUS COMMUNITY

WHAT A TRIP! My fun and frivolous NY podcast took a serious turn to LOCKDOWN on a farm and artist residency in deeply rural Kingsbury, TX, as the world suddenly came to a grinding halt because of a worldwide pandemic and quarantine. Standing in the center of this sleepy railroad town, you’d never know it’s less than an hour from the bustling cities of Austin & San Antonio, but this hidden gem has an amazing diversity of creative and unique characters who are artists of a different nature.

Habitable Spaces has always been an inspiration to me as it evolved from just a dream of Alison and Shane when we were roommates in Brooklyn that materialized when they made the leap and moved to family land in 2012. Eight years later, they oversee a non-profit artist residency and farm that has become a launch pad and connector for community, and an incubator for creative minds worldwide. This city boy never envisioned being so excited by mulch or manure, and who knew curds and whey were a real thing? Recent worldwide lockdown has made self-sufficiency in our communities more crucial than ever. People are realizing how fragile our systems are and how much of them we have been taking for granted. Shane and Alison decided a long time ago that the system wasn’t working for them, and they decided to live outside of it. Habitable Spaces is a center for arts and agriculture. In a nutshell, they teach farmers how to make art and artists how to farm.

I’m learning LOTS and will introduce you to some of the artists, ideas and methods of sustainability and mindfulness that they use in their daily lives. Alter your perspective and ignite your curiosity tripping with friends at Habitable Spaces Farm & Artist Residency.
