    No Rain… No Rainbows

    No Rain… No Rainbows

    by

    Since Jul 29, 2018 20:00 UTC

Welcome to “No Rain… No Rainbows” with Ted Phaeton. *Executive Producer: Andrej Suttles *Content Consultant: Charles Russ This is a podcast about pushing through your hardships in life to reach your best days and live the life you deserve. The topics will mainly be about self-improvement. The subject matter will also expand to include self-help, relationships, business, health, finances, fitness, mental health, overall fulfillment, what it means to be a man in today’s society and so much more. We are not experts in these topics but we are committed to asking the questions and seeking the answers. Hopefully, you can share our curiosity and desire to learn more. The purpose of this podcast is to facilitate growth and help you find the courage, motivation, and inspiration to live your best life. This is a joint journey towards reaching our potential. Are you ready to get started? Let’s expand and grow our perspective and become the people we were born to be. This is No Rain… No Rainbows. Let’s Grow!

    > “Every adversity, every failure and every heartache carries with it the seed of an equivalent or a greater benefit.”
    >
    > Napoleon Hill

At least 80% of America is under some form of “Stay-at-Home” order as of writing this. The impacts of such a stop in everyday life have already been felt in the economy and disrupted countless businesses while re-defining what we view as normal.

Through this pandemic, there has been many creative, innovative and unique ideas. The best within us is coming out and forcing it’s way to the surface to help us stay afloat in these troubled waters. What is that saying?

    > “It’s always darkest before the dawn.”

While we sit in the dark together, I’d like to challenge everyone to find the light within themselves. While some see the gloom and doom, others see a chance and an opportunity to learn this lesson, take advantage of the opportunity and grow through this problem.

It all comes down to PERSPECTIVE.

My guest today is more than just a friend. Charles Russ has been a mentor, an adviser, and a brother to me for years now and helped me grow through some of my darkest days. When it comes to going through this Pandemic, I couldn’t think of a better person to share space with, social distancing approved of course, and discuss the lessons and opportunities we can take while experiencing this first hand.

It’s too late to prepare for a disaster. However, I hope that by listening to Charles’ insight and perspective, you can acquire some strategies and tools to make it through this Pandemic and build a rainy day fund (pun intended) to weather the next storm in our lives.

And just like I am confident we will make it out of this situation, I am also certain we will see more storms to come. I hope we can build our resilience to make it through whatever life decides to throw at us next.

The seminar series ‘Internationalisation and Educational Reform in Eastern European and the Commonwealth of Independent States’ is organised by the Kazakhstan programme research team as a platform for analysis, discussion and critique of the recent educational reforms in the Newly Independent nations of the former Soviet Union and its satellite states. From a variety of theoretical and methodological perspectives the questions that we invite us all to explore are: – the Russian/Soviet inheritance and how this continues to shape education policy and practice – the relationship of educational reform to the development of post independence national identity – the internationalisation of education reform, the global education space, policy ‘borrowing’ and the indigenisation of international practice. All are welcome!
