Upcoming Dj/Producers Steven Marques & Steven De La Fe Take you on a Journey Through Some Of Today’s Best House Music from around the world. Hailing from Elizabeth, New Jersey, Kings of House (Steven De Lafe & Steven Marques) began their music careers in the underground scene and quickly gained popularity as a duo of DJ’s. Their sound incorporates a variety of progressive, tech, and conventional styles of house music, often featuring hit songs before they have even blown up. Having mastered their unique blend of styles, in a few short months they rose to the top of the most reputable podcast websites. On Podomatic ranking as high as top three (particularly in New York City) in house podcasts and electronic music, and on iTunes they have peaked at the top five globally on multiple releases in the very best of house podcasts, surpassing such artists as Roger Sanchez, Max Vangeli, Dada Life, Sander van Doorn, and others. On the web, they now reach an audience of nearly 30, 000 subscribers world-wide and can be seen playing at Pacha, Europa, and soon Webster Hall in NYC, as well Dolce, Rio Lounge, and many other spots surrounding their hometown in New Jersey. Steven Marques, who has connected with venues all over New Jersey and New York, has already traveled as far in DJing to reach the well-known Catalina venue in Miami, Florida, one of the hottest spots in the United States for electronic dance music. Kings of House have already performed with and collaborated with quite a few of the most well-known and rising DJ’s and producers, such as Alexander Technique, Marcos Carnaval, Junior Sanchez, Max Vangeli, and Dada Life. Steven De Lafe, who has begun to lead Kings of House into the realm of productions, has recently put out a couple of remixes from famous artists like Skrillex and Martin Solveig, which were well-received. He is currently working on original material for an up-coming EP, which will feature Marques and other guest artists that will be announced in months to come. With such a large amount of attention and only two years behind them, it is clear that Kings of House really do intend to become kings in the electronic dance music scenes all over the world.
