These radio shows, together with his movies and television shows helped make him one of the all-time most popular heroes of western fiction and cinema. Instead, this podcast is for someone like me, Cliff Ravenscraft, who has a deep amount of respect and appreciation for the world that Tolkien built, and its fans, and who would like to go deeper into exploration of what this world may have to offer. If you enjoy this podcast, I encourage you to check out the Twilight Saga Fan Podcast at TwilightSagaPodcast.com or the Hunger Games Fan Podcast at HungerGamesPodcast.com. If you ask a musical theatre enthusiast what first made them catch the bug, you’re likely to get an array of answers. For many of us, however, our first window into the many wonders of musical theatre can be found in the vast oeuvre of cast albums available. Think of this podcast as a book club of sorts… but instead of the latest bestseller, we’ll be talking about the cast recordings that have shaped us, made us who we are, and brought us joy. Each episode I will be joined by a guest to discuss a recording of their choice and chat about all the reasons we fall in love with these albums.

According to the US Census records there are at least 2900 Americans that share my full name (Michael Marshall). Unsurprisingly there are many more across the greater English-speaking world. So, I decided to set out and interview the other Michael Marshalls to see what they’re all like. Why not right? And it’s actually been a riot. Michael Marshalls are rad! Among us are authors, pro athletes, activists, journalists, artists, really cool dads, architects, carpenters, inventors, actors and so much more. Each week I speak to a different Michael Marshall about their own experiences as well as their shared experience of our name.
