    by

    Since Mar 18, 2019 14:16 UTC

Faith Angle brings together top scholars and leading journalists for smart conversations around some of the most profound questions in the public square. Rather than a current-events debrief, our goal is a substantive conversation one notch beneath the surface, drawing out how religious convictions manifest themselves in American culture and public life.

    The Founder’s Mindset

    The Founder’s Mindset

    by

    Since Mar 11, 2022 13:25 UTC

The Founder’s Mindset explores the minds of young entrepreneurs through the early days of founding a company. While challenges are inevitable in business, how we respond to them can be the difference between success and failure.

Each week, clinical psychologist Dr Gena Gorlin will sit down with different guests at various stages of founding their company. They will discuss the obstacles they have faced on their journey and the behaviours and mindset they used to overcome them.

Then Gena, alongside co-host Alice Bentinck, will debrief on these challenges and analyse the learnings we can all take from their experiences to hopefully avoid making the same mistakes.

    Who You Callin’ Crazy?!

    Who You Callin’ Crazy?!

    by

    Since Apr 21, 2021 02:00 UTC

Welcome to our unique mental health podcast! Licensed therapist, Juliet Kuehnle, uses humor and real talk to dive into the stories of interesting people you (want to) know. Of course there will be therapy tips (because, let’s be serious, we all need them!), but mostly these conversations are a glimpse into the vulnerability of the people you might think “have it all together.” We want to elevate and normalize the dialogue around mental health and erase the stigma so we can all own our humanness and maybe even proudly claim, “Yep, I go to therapy!” Subscribe and press play today!

Up From Slavery by Booker T. Washington

Up From Slavery by Booker T. Washington

    by

    Since Sep 20, 2020 00:00 UTC

Up From Slavery is the 1901 autobiography of Booker T. Washington detailing his slow and steady rise from a slave child during the Civil War, to the difficulties and obstacles he overcame to get an education at the new Hampton University, to his work establishing vocational schools—most notably the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama—to help black people and other disadvantaged minorities learn useful, marketable skills and work to pull themselves, as a race, up by the bootstraps. He reflects on the generosity of both teachers and philanthropists who helped in educating blacks and native Americans. He describes his efforts to instill manners, breeding, health and a feeling of dignity to students. More great books at LoyalBooks.com
