    Bhagavad Gita

    Bhagavad Gita

    by

    Since Feb 8, 2022 23:15 UTC

The content of the text is a conversation between Krishna and Arjuna taking place on the battlefield of Kurukshetra just prior to the start of a climactic war. Responding to Arjuna’s confusion and moral dilemma, Krishna explains to Arjuna his duties as a warrior and Prince and elaborates on a number of different Yogic and Vedantic philosophies, with examples and analogies. This has led to the Gita often being described as a concise guide to Hindu philosophy and also as a practical, self-contained guide to life. During the discourse, Krishna reveals his identity as the Supreme Being Himself (Bhagavan), blessing Arjuna with an awe-inspiring glimpse of His divine absolute form.

C-Change Show- Changing Business Culture for GOOD

C-Change Show- Changing Business Culture for GOOD

    by

    Since May 10, 2022 21:00 UTC

Since the Great Resignation, culture has become paramount in recruiting and retaining top talent. Fairness and equity have become deal breakers for many job seekers. As a culture consultant, Change Management Specialist and Talent Optimization Partner with Predictive Index, I decided to do this show because I started to meet CEO’s and Founders that were… well, “white guys” that recognized that their homogenized leadership teams were leaving them blind Two risks that could only be seen from different points of view and different life experiences. They figured out how to diversify their top leadership teams. These guys are getting it right, even 4xing their annual revenue.I know there are a lot of other white guys out there who see the limitations of homogenized leadership teams, but they’re just not sure how to step into a new way of thinking or help their executive teams see the financial benefits of inclusion.I wanted to celebrate and amplify these self-described “rich white guys” who have figured it out and want to help other men do the same. Although you will be hearing predominantly from white male senior leaders, there will also be plenty of perspective from female and black CEO’s, executives and business leaders who offer their unique strategies and solutions.Join me every week where we will get into how the sausage is made, because when DEI is done right, it ain’t no Kumbaya situation – it’s messy and awkward and yet these emotional intelligence ninjas are getting it done.I have a no judgement, no blame, no shame policy here. The interviews are candid and entertaining and sometimes they can get a little raw so be fair warned, the language can get salty. If a shitshow is offensive to you, this is not your podcast : )Let’s dive into the C-Change!

    Generation BSC

    Generation BSC

    by

    Since Sep 23, 2019 10:00 UTC

Kate Vlasek and Lauryn Hunter are two women in their mid-thirties who generally geek out about all things pop culture, particularly nostalgic pop culture. A spur-of-the-moment purchase of a random assortment of Baby-Sitters Club books on eBay sparked the excitement that would become Generation BSC. And what is Generation BSC? First, it’s a micro-generation Kate and Lauryn have identified with between Generation X and Millennials. This micro-generation has also been called the Oregon Trail Generation, Generation Catalano, the Star Wars Generation, Xennials, and Elder Millennials – essentially, for our purposes, those born between 1980 and 1985 who would have read Baby-Sitters Club books as they were being released in the late 80s and early 90s. (As an aside, we’ve come to realize since starting our journey with the Baby-Sitters Club, however, that Generation BSC really is anyone who has grown or is growing up with the BSC, but we’re examining it from our perspective in particular.) Second, it’s a biweekly episodic podcast where Kate and Lauryn revisit each book in the Baby-Sitters Club series both looking back at how they approached the topics and themes when they read the books as children and comparing that with how they approach the same topics and themes in 2019 (and beyond). Eventually, the podcast will include guests and “Very Special Episodes” where Kate and Lauryn visit other pop culture from the same era and later, using the Baby-Sitters Club and Generation BSC as a jumping off point for discussion. Whether you’ve loved the Baby-Sitters Club since childhood or are jumping in for the first time, you’ll have a great time reading along with Kate and Lauryn. Where Christian influencers talk about marriage and parenting.
We’re basically Joe Rogan, but less ‘What if chimps went to outer space?’ and more ‘What if the Church ended the orphan crisis?’
On a mission to see a Gospel-centered home available to every child in the foster care system.
There are 400,000 kids in the foster care system. There are 400,000 churches in America. This is a solvable problem.
    Let’s solve it.

YoungMarriedChristian.com D-Bo is joined by Tina Campbell, one half of the gospel R&B duo Mary Mary, and her world-renowned drumming husband, Teddy Campbell (American Idol, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, and many more). They discuss whether or not the wife should take responsibility for the cooking in a marriage, the purpose of having a platform, and whether or not it’s wise to have wealth. They also dive into a three step process to share Jesus with your neighbors, talk about how good things aren’t necessarily God things, and how being exclusively Christian trumps any political party, racial movement, or gender revolution. Teddy gives some amazing advice for drummers and Tina talks about the meaning behind the name Mary Mary. This episode wraps up with a conversation about bringing God into the bedroom and how prayer can be a catalyst for better sex in your marriage. Hold onto your prayer beads, MCs…
