    Parotid Tumor Podcast strives to reduce the fear, anxiety, and stress levels of patients, who have been diagnosed with parotid tumors, by providing them with information, resources, and support. The episodes will be hosted by Heidi Semann, a fellow parotid patient, and the Executive Director of Parotid Patient Project. Heidi’s personal experiences led her to become a passionate advocate for parotid patients and led her to create the nonprofit organization Parotid Patient Project, which is dedicated to educating and supporting patients and raising funds for much needed medical research. Heidi will interview medical professionals about the diagnosis, treatment, and management of parotid tumors to help provide patients with the information that they need to make informed decisions about their medical care. Patient questions will also be answered during the episodes, which can be submitted to podcast@parotidpatientproject.org; or submitted to us through our Facebook and Twitter accounts.     Host Kyle Kohlman sits down with interesting friends to see what they’re up to in their interesting lives.

    Chris Williams is an educator, a storyteller and workshop leader. He has worked for the Portland Public School District for the past ten years and has recently started to facilitate anti-racist workshops for the organization Engage to Change. He is a published writer and produces a storytelling/community building event called Front Porch Sessions. He is also 1/3 of the international, award winning improv group Broke Gravy, who recently performed at TedX Portland. He currently sits on the board of OK You – a Portland non-profit that focuses on making a more creative and empowered experience for youth when it comes to fear and worry.
