Voted “Favorite Political Podcast” by Apple Podcasts listeners. Stephen Colbert says “Everybody should listen to the Slate Political Gabfest.” The Gabfest, featuring Emily Bazelon, John Dickerson, and David Plotz, is the kind of informal and irreverent discussion Washington journalists have after hours over drinks.

Learning your history makes you – and your people – stronger. As Black people, we know we’re left out of the history books. That the media images are skewed. That we need access to experts, information and ideas so we can advance our people. Black History Year connects you to the history, thinkers, and activists that are left out of the mainstream conversations. You may not agree with everything you hear, but we’re always working toward one goal: uniting for the best interest of Black people worldwide. BHY is produced by PushBlack, the nation’s largest non-profit Black media company – hit us up at BlackHistoryYear.com.

Welcome to I DIDN’T KNOW THAT. Each moment there’s something new; what is one supposed to pay attention to? Our monkey-brains hop from one shiny thing to another, resistant to pondering lest there be something sweeter on the next branch. So this is an attempt to stop, pick something up, poke and prod at it a little. In the end, I’m looking for trends and patterns in knowledge that can provide an end-run, a shortcuts to epiphany. “The kingdom” was the number one message Jesus would preach during the time of his earthly ministry. He couldn’t stop talking about it. The kingdom is like a lost coin, the kingdom is like a lost sheep, the kingdom is like a lost son. The kingdom is like a sower who went into a field. The kingdom is like a man who found a pearl of great price in a field and sold everything he had and went and bought the field. I think you get my point. The kingdom was one of Jesus’ main topics yet most Christians couldn’t tell you what it is if you asked them. Hence the “Kingdom Conversations” podcast was born! Join Pastor Caleb McCall for testimonies, conversations, interviews, teachings and preaching about and within “The Kingdom!” The interviews will tackle hard topics the church faces in today’s world with influential leaders from across the country.
