    Restitutio

    Restitutio

    by

    Since Oct 25, 2015 12:00 UTC

Restitutio is a Christian theology podcast designed to get you thinking about biblical theology, church history, and apologetics in an effort to recover the original Christian faith of Jesus and the apostles apart from all of the later traditions that settled on it like so much sediment, obscuring and mutating primitive Christianity into dogma and ritual. Pastor Sean Finnegan, the host of Restitutio, holds to a Berean approach to truth: that everyone should have an open mind, but check everything against the bible to see how it measures up. If you are looking for biblical unitarian resources, information about the kingdom of God, or teachings about conditional immortality, Restitutio is the Christian podcast for you.

Good Morning, Boys and Girls! by HOSTY, Rev. Thomas J.

    by

    Since Jan 1, 1970 00:00 UTC

Forty simple, delightful sermons for children. The stories cover a full school year, all Sundays and a few holydays in between. Under such engaging chapter titles, as Chasing Rainbows, Caterpillars, The Best Christmas Gift, and Breakfast of Champions, the book entertains while it instructs. Here Heaven takes on a new closeness as “God’s Home”; the Bible is a collection of “Letters from God”; while the devil is called “a Real Bogeyman.” Such important subjects as beauty of soul, gratitude, Sunday Mass, the foolishness of sin, the Rosary, and temptation are dealt with in a refreshing manner guaranteed to capture the interest of every child. (Summary from the original dust jacket.)

    The Not So EZ Life

    The Not So EZ Life

    by

    Since May 30, 2021 19:02 UTC

We are homeschooling parents to 3 kids, walking the road of grief after the full term pregnancy of our 4th baby ended in him being stillborn. We sold our 2,300sq ft home to pay off student loan debt, lived in a tiny RV for a year while we hand built our 900sq ft blue house in the woods. We work together as a family to build a homestead on our 7 acres in Texas, learning as we go: all things gardening, animal raising, foraging, and following God with faith as we grow our snack business. Join us on this Not So EZ Life adventure!

    Capital for Good

    Capital for Good

    by

    Since Jan 22, 2021 01:59 UTC

We find ourselves at a moment of unprecedented challenge – and opportunity. While the COVID-19 health, economic, and racial crises have laid bare and exacerbated any number of structural inequalities, and global climate change remains an existential – and very urgent – threat, they also compel us to reimagine how leaders across the private, nonprofit, and public sectors can champion social and environmental change in ways that truly advance shared prosperity and a sustainable future. Presented by the Tamer Center for Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School, Capital for Good provides a window into this reimagined future: a chance to hear from corporate and civic leaders about their visions, plans, commitments, and on-the ground efforts to build a more just, inclusive, and sustainable society. Through in depth and candid conversations, we will explore and unpack solutions to some of our most urgent challenges. Can business be a force for good? What is stakeholder capitalism? What is the role of capital markets and philanthropy along the pathways to inclusive growth? How do we encourage and scale grassroots and broad-based innovation? How can public private partnerships help bring all of our resources and ingenuity to bear? About the Tamer Center for Social Enterprise The center educates leaders to use business knowledge, entrepreneurial skills, and management tools to address social and environmental challenges. About the Host Georgia Levenson Keohane is a seasoned executive in the private and nonprofit sectors at the intersection of capital markets, responsible investing and business, and philanthropy and public policy; an award winning author; and an adjunct professor of social enterprise at Columbia Business School.
