Welcome to Everything Speaks If You Listen with Jen CobbleWorks where we befriend our humanity and the Sacred through story, soul questions, and every day life. I’m Jen Cobble Willhoite, a contemplative storyteller, spiritual tool designer, and soul seeker. My path is formed by questions more than answers. I’m more comfortable wondering about things spiritual than I am in ideology. Every few weeks, I share an episode from my own spiritual explorations, offering invitations for you to ask about and explore these themes on your own. Thanks for journeying with me!

    by

    Since Nov 9, 2021 02:00 UTC

White Noise Collective is a volunteer anti-racist feminist collective. Since 2010, we have offered spaces for deep reflection, dialogue and political education to amplify racial justice action in our movements and our lives. Our work focuses on the patterns of interaction between white racial privilege and gender marginalization. Our core collective is made up of white trans nonbinary folks and cis women dedicated to growing movements for collective liberation. We are located in and recording this podcast on Chochenyo Ohlone land in Oakland, CA. You can go to conspireforchange.org to learn more. In this time of transformation, this podcast shares the voices of long-time movement builders for racial justice, with a focus on the roles and possibilities of white people in solidarity. We welcome you to join us in this experiment as we practice growing our width to hold complexity, deepening our strategy, and honoring legacies of resistance. Thank you for joining us!

    Gig Stories with Music People

    by

    Since Apr 19, 2021 14:00 UTC

Does the name not speak for itself? Need more? Ok. After 10+ years based in Los Angeles working as a professional musician, I’ve accumulated a great number of stories. I know that I’m not alone in this regard, so my hope is to shed light on the best stories from my musician friends & colleagues from around the world. Along the way I also hope to learn about each guests journey through this crazy life & industry, and ideally to offer poignant music (& life) advice to anyone listening, whether you’re a seasoned musician, newbie, hobbyist, or just a… civilian? Most of my guests will either be working professional musicians or weekend warriors, but I also plan to expand over time to hear different perspectives from related “gig life” fields. If there’s someone you want to hear from or some way I can make this better, let me know! CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is appreciated! ig: @gigstorieswithmusicpeople If you’d like to learn more about me & what I’m doing, check out episode 0 for my intro and go to: https://www.thespacemint.com/ (my studio in LA) http://www.evanonthebass.com/ @the_spacemint @evanonthebass At the moment I have no sponsors, so if you’d like to support this podcast the best thing is to share it on social media or with someone who might be interested! If you want to go above and beyond that and help ensure more episodes you can also purchase my music at https://evanmykl.bandcamp.com/ or even just make a contribution on Venmo @Evan-TheSpacemint any help is very much appreciated! Thank you for listening!
