This is the podcast for you if you’re a school marketing manager who likes your job, you might even love your job. But you’d rather be at the beach.

    by

    Since Oct 11, 2015 03:03 UTC

We are Nerd with Balls, a weekly podcast dedicated to all things pop culture. The name isn’t about whether you have b*** or not, but is 100% about a state of mind, a lifestyle that we have proudly adopted. A lifestyle that still sees movies as an art form, that worships at the alter of TV, and communes with the gods of comic book history. Sometimes what we have to say will come across as lewd, but that’s only because we come with passion. One thing’s for sure, it’s gonna be fun. We are pop culture. We are Nerd with Balls.

When it comes to growing your business, are you addicted to continuous improvement and professional development and constantly trying to work out how you can go the extra mile?

If you answer yes to any of the above, you are going to LOVE The How To Do Marketing Show with Jane Hillsdon.

The How To Do Marketing show is hosted by straight-shooting marketing consultant, author of ‘How to do Marketing – A Comprehensive Guide for Small Businesses, Certified Practicing Marketer, and three-time AMI Award winner; Jane Hillsdon.

Together with the carefully curated guest list of remarkable marketers, the How To Do Marketing show will share marketers insight and inspiration about best practice small business marketing.

Understanding exactly what marketing is and what marketing is going to work for your business can be confusing. How do you know how best to reach your customer? How do you stand out from your competition? How much do you need to spend on marketing? How do you attract the attention of the right type of customer? What even is the right type of customer? How do you make sure that your customer keeps coming back and better still, that they gush about your business to all of their friends and family? And, in a world of small business where time is a most scarce resource, how do you fit it all in?

The How To Do Marketing Show will answer all of these questions and more. The podcast will deliver thought leadership, practical advice and simple strategies to help small business owners achieve excellent marketing results. And by doing so, collectively advancing the success of small businesses based in regional Australia.

The podcast is managed and hosted by Jane Hillsdon and produced by Morgan Media.

    Harvard Classics

    by

    Since Jun 3, 2021 06:15 UTC

Former President of Harvard University Charles W. Eliot wrote in his introduction to the Harvard Classics, “In my opinion, a five-foot shelf would hold books enough to give a liberal education to any one who would read them with devotion, even if he could spare but fifteen minutes a day for reading.” Here you are, you can easily listen to his entire 15-minutes-a-day study guide while commuting to and from work (most of us spend far more than 15 minutes a day commuting each day), doing mundane work in the office, washing dishes at home, or doing most of the things day in and day out. It is so easy, so entertaining, and so educational that they can be listened to again and again, until they permeate into our own thinking and into our characters. Perhaps, in one year’s time, you will become someone you barely recognize, all for the better. Who knows? — Rich E Book
