Welcome to the Ink and Paint Folk podcast- a look at animation through the women and non-binary folk who make it!
Hosted by Cassie Soliday
Today’s guest is Storyboard Artist and Production Coordinator, Ashley Lam!
Ashley has worked for studios like Stoopid Buddy, Joe Murray Studios, and Walt Disney Animation- which means she’s worked in both TV and Feature- and even more than that, she’s worked as a production assistant and coordinator as well as a storyboard revisionist. In our conversation, she shares how she navigates both avenues within Animation, how she cultivated management skills as she was promoted from assistant to coordinator, what she’s aiming for in the future and how she plans to get there.
